I cant be the only one who follows Whitney from Naptural85 on YouTube. Her videos are always so helpful and fun to watch. In this video, she shows how she makes her famous nutrient packed hair and body oil. I am always trying to find the right combination of natural oils to use in my hair and body, so I appreciate this video. This mix of oils is great for your hair and scalp and nourishes your skin as well.If you have dry eczema skin like me, then you will definitely appreciate this oil mix too.
How To Make The Oil Mix:
Below are the list of oils used in Naptural85’s recipe and the benefits of each
➤ Olive Oil (2.5 oz) – Olive Oil is great for our hair and skin. I am sure you have noticed the countless amount of hair and body products rich in olive oil. There is a reason for this. Olive oil is a great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory oil and so, it is great for dandruff and some skin disorders. It is one of the few oils that actually penetrates the hair, leaves it moisturizing and also seals in the moisture. It also improves blood circulation on the scalp. Olive oil can leave your skin moisturized for longer compared to your regular lotion.
➤ Jojoba Oil*(2.5 oz) – This oil is the closest oil to the sebum (oil) that our bodies naturally produce. It coats and protects the hair’s follicles and promotes growth.
➤ Clear Castor Oil*(1 oz) – Castor oil* is packed with mineral and vitamins and excellent for those with thinning hair or bald spots. its a thicker oil but its great on scalp to help fight dandruff or eczema scalp. I personally love this oil because I suffer from eczema and its done wonders on my scalp. It relieves itchy scalp better than any medicine that I had been prescribed.
➤ Sweet Almond Oil*(1 oz) – Almond oil* is known to softens the hair and reduces the risk of hair damage. This oil is also anti-inflammatory which is great for your hair, scalp and body.
➤ Avocado Oil*(1 oz) – Avocado oil* is one of my favorite oils because its leaves my hair feeling really soft and stronger over time. Its also promotes hair growth because of it increase blood circulation in the scalp.
➤ Vitamin E Oil(1/2 oz) – You only need a small amount of this oil to reap the benefits. It strengthens your hair and promotes growth. It is also great for your skin.

How To Use This Oil Mix:
On the Scalp – This oil mix can be use to oil your scalp. Massage your scalp to increase circulation and blood flow. This is known to promote hair growth and maintain healthy hair follicles. On the Hair – You can use this oil mix on your hair right out the shower before you add your moisturizer. You can also use this as a hot oil treatment. On Your Body – On damp skin you can use this oil to further moisturize the skin and lock in the moisture. Do you make your own oil mixes? Share with us what you use.

Oliver oil, coconut oil, castor oil and peppermint oil but I mix it in my Shea butter so it won’t run on my neck and face and this way my butter becomes a whip and I apply it to my damp hair

I love my oil mix of black seed oil, castor, coconut, grape seed, avocado, olive and argan oil. I use this combination immediately after showering while my skin is still damp. It keeps me moisturized all day–the black seed oil is very calming to irritated or itchy skin. Black seed oil is a must have for me. In addition, I put some of this oil in my Cantu leave in hair conditioner, along with some lavender essential oil, to do my twist outs. Can also add essential oils for body care too! It’s a dual purpose.
