DG Digital Coupons allows you access to some of the best savings Dollar General has to offer, no clipping or printing needed!

While logged into your account on your mobile phone or desktop computer, select from available offers to add to your account. At checkout, redeem these offers by simply typing in your phone number into the pin pad. We can send you a digital receipt of your purchase - via text message or email. Watch these savings add up in your DG Digital Coupons accounts!

What is the DG Digital Coupon program and what are the benefits to me?

The DG Digital Coupon program delivers digital coupons that help you save money on the items you buy and those you'd like to try. It enables you to receive, view and track your receipts digitally, access personalized offers and deals, and create lists.

Best of all, no clipping required! Once set up, you simply need to type your registered phone number in at checkout to get your selected savings applied instantly to your purchase.

DG Digital Coupons tailors relevant offers to you based on your shopping history. These offers can be added and saved to your profile, eliminating the need to cut or print out coupons and bring them in to the store. Additionally, you can also create a shopping list while comparing available offers to help plan your shopping trips and maximize your savings each time!

Will I be charged by my mobile carrier to use DG Digital Coupons?

Standard text messaging rates and data fees may be applied by your cell phone carrier or Internet service provider for accessing the link to the digital receipt, or when accessing your account. Please check your individual plan for more details.

Do I have to sign up to receive discounts?

Yes, you will need to sign up for DG Digital Coupons to receive discounts and/or digital receipts. We still have print-at-home and mobile offers available, but keep in mind that not all offers are available in all formats. To get started, follow this link.

What if I no longer want to participate?

To opt-out of the DG Digital Coupons, followthis this linkand submit an unsubscribe request. You will then receive a follow-up email once your request has been fulfilled.

Please note that unsubscribing from DG Digital Coupons does not unsubscribe you from Dollar General marketing messages, if you are a subscriber. Please follow the directions in messages from each of those channels if you wish to unsubscribe.

How do I sign up without a mobile phone?

After clicking to sign-up, you’ll select the box that says “Mobile” and choose “Landline” from the drop-down menu. Enter your number, click “CALL AND TELL ME THE CODE” and be sure to have a pen ready! You’ll then enter the code provided and continue with the sign-up process.

How do I sign up?

Sign-up on your computer or mobile device hereor through our mobile app! You can also conveniently sign-up at checkout! We'll send email a link to you afterwards to complete the process.

How many accounts can I have?

One account permitted per person.

Can I sign up in the store?

If you're interested in signing up at check out, the cashier will ask you to enter your phone number into the keypad. From there, we will send you a link via SMS text message to finish the sign up process online.

*Please note that your phone number isn't the last step in creating an account. Your account will only be valid once you've completed the online sign-up process.

What personal information will be needed/used? Will it be shared?

You will need to provide your email address and a phone number to participate.

We do not share this information with anyone outside of key technology providers who have a direct relationship with Dollar General. For more information please refer to the program's terms of use and our privacy policy.

Will I be able to opt-in to the types of messages I want to receive?

Yes, we respect your privacy and only send messages that you opt into. To see or change your opt-in preferences for digital receipts visit the settings link in the main menu.

Will I be able to track my savings?

Yes, when you enter your phone number at checkout your savings will be tracked through the savings dashboard. This provides an overview of your total savings over time. The savings dashboard can be accessed via web or mobile after you have logged in to your account.

Will my account be linked with other members of my household?

No, each user phone number is unique and will not be linked with other members of your household.

What if I add an offer and it's not taken off my total bill?

There are a few reasons why this might happen:

  1. You haven't clipped the coupon to your digital coupon account.
  2. The coupon wasn't used on the correct item.
  3. The coupon was expired.
  4. You used a paper coupon for the same item.

If none of these factors apply to you, we want to help. Please provide additional informationhere, and we'll look into this as soon as possible.

What is the difference between a Dollar General coupon and a manufacturer's coupon?

A manufacturer's coupon is an offer that is specific to a particular national brand, such as Tide, Coca Cola, or Kraft. A Dollar General coupon is only valid on relevant Dollar General branded products. Please note that Dollar General coupons do not apply to manufacturer's coupons, and cannot be combined with manufacturer's coupons for any particular product.

Can I use more than one coupon during one store visit?

You are more than welcome to use coupons as they apply to a product, but coupons cannot be combined and stacked on to a single product for multiplied savings.

Can I still use a paper coupon for my purchase?

Yes, but you will not be able to combine multiple manufacturer's or multiple Dollar General coupons for the same item in the same transaction. For more information please visit our coupon policy.

How do I redeem my coupons?

Once loaded to your account, coupons are automatically applied at checkout when you purchase the eligible item and enter your phone number at the pin pad.

How many coupons can I save to my account?

There is no limit on the number of coupons that you can load to your account at one time, although individual coupons may have limits on the number of times they can be redeemed.

How will I know an offer has been redeemed?

Redeemed coupons will be indicated on your printed cash register receipt and on your DG digital receipt. To access, visit receipts in the main menu.

How do I see available digital coupons?

Digital coupons can be accessed on a desktop computer or on a mobile device here. They can also be accessed within the Dollar General App on your smart phone.

Note that you will need to log in to your profile in order to clip selected coupons.

How frequently will new offers be available?

Offers are continuously updated. Visit the site as you plan your trips to the store to maximize your savings.

How will I know which offers have been loaded to my account?

You can view your loaded coupons by logging into your account. Visit the lists page from the main navigation, and then select the "Added Coupons" button above the list to see coupons that have been stored to your account.

Will coupons be automatically loaded to my account?

No, you must add the coupons from DG Digital Coupons to load to your account.

Will the offers I receive be customized for me?

Yes, DG Digital Coupons is a customized experience based on your purchase history. We figure out your favorite products and categories, then suggest offers that fit. The more you use it, the better it gets!

How do I remove a coupon from my account?

This option isn't available at this time; however, we're continuously working to make your coupon experience better, so stay tuned.

How will my digital receipts be sent? How quickly will they arrive?

You can choose to have your receipts sent via email or text message. While most shoppers will receive their receipt within minutes, timing may vary due to speed of network and other factors.

To access your digital receipts, visit receipts in the main menu. To update your digital receipt delivery method, access settings located in the main menu.

What are the benefits of a digital receipt?

Digital receipts offer you the ability to see a detailed history of your purchases as well as track your digital coupon savings.

Can I still get a paper receipt?

Of course! A print receipt is still provided at each transaction.

Can I make a return or exchange using my digital receipt?

Yes, most store returns can be done with a digital receipt from your smart phone or from a print out.

How can I view my digital receipt(s)?

To view your digital receipt(s), click on receipts located in the main menu of the Digital Coupon dashboard. Note that digital receipt(s) are provided based on your preferences by email or text message. To update your delivery preferences, access settings located in the main menu.

I received a link via text message. Can the same link be used for web?

Yes, the link can be viewed on your mobile phone or computer.

I'm trying to sign up, but it keeps saying my phone number is invalid.

There are several possibilities for this.

  • The phone number may already be associated with an existing account. If you have forgotten the email address connected with your Dollar General Digital Coupons account, click on the “Forgot Password? Need Help?” button at the bottom of the page here.
  • It may also be that the phone number you're using has been deemed as a high risk number by our system. If you are attempting to sign up for the first time with a real phone number, please let us know by clicking here, and we'll look into this right away.

How do I change the phone number associated with my account?

I am having problems logging in to the website.
